About me? Hmmm I always love filling these out..lol:) I love/adore music, Jazz at the top of that list. I am obsessed with the tone of the saxophone and hope to start lessons soon...I believe it is NEVER too late in life to try something new...my neighbors may run me out of the neighborhood...lol;) Stan Getz is my all time favorite saxophone artist...such a distinction when you hear his beyond excellent music. Me? I write lyrics, songs, poems... sing for 15+ years at various events, play piano by ear/self taught. I am sorry to say I don't read music...BUT I do make music:))
I am a certified kick box instructor/ taught aerobics for 23 years and was a personal trainer as well. Ummmm, OH haa I own my own Candle Company..."Heaven Scent Candles" and love to relax to a nice smelling candle and some good SAX;)
Ok, that should cover a portion of "about me." One last note...haaa (puns just seem to control me) the last note is that I am very humbled and very grateful for the privelage to be here and share the worlds greatest resource...MUSIC;)))
GREAT FOOD FOR THOUGHT & APPLICATION:)
1.I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you…
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, & the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand & touches your heart.
5.The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them
6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on someone, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting & just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person & know who you are before you try & know someone else & expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

Good evening Joan!! Sorry I was in a hurry earlier, your question popped in my head & I realized I didn't answer it. No I have never heard of Ray Blues but will have to do search when I get a chance :-)) Take care...talk soon!
You are always welcome Joane :-)) I would love to hear you sing!!! Truly you are a bright light, I'm so happy I met you!! I have always liked jazz but never ventured into it much, Eva Cassidy is famous in the Jazz community. I hear the sound of a SAX in a song a get goose bumps too :-)) I've always liked the cutting off ones right arm analogy LOL as well as the other one "not the letting the right hand see what the left had does" Hehe!! You are so sweet but you also introduced me to some SAX players that are just so amazing, you have great taste & know your SAX :-)) I love Eva Cassidy, she was amazing, sad she passed away so young but what a great legacy she left behind. Eva actually became well known after she passed. I uploaded her whole Songbird album on my Jazz page, her style was a mix of folk, jazz, pop/rock. I like to share, steal whatever your heart desires & thank you for sharing with me :-))
Hey lady, how are you? I joined the Jazz group but couldn't find you there so I sent you a request, like you need another one huh??? Hehehe. I'm adding some Jazz music there I love. Oh my goodness, just read my comment below, not making much sense on the SC & forest, LOL...I was half asleep!!! Hope you are having an energetic magnificent day....I'm tired but plugging away!! Sunshine & blessings to my jazzy sweet friend!! I love it!!
