The Scarlet Balanga projects starts from the passion and the experiences of Rossella Piccolo (voice and classical guitar) and Giovanni Caruso (guitars), who gathered their contributions to explore their musical backgrounds, of various origin, and find their own way through the music world; Daniele Buttaro (piano and keyboards) followed them widening the horizon of the project, also with his experience in arranging the songs. The main feature of the project is an open view to the various influences of the band, with no close-ups about any particular musical form, so that the result is free from a steady classification, leaving each time the ground free for all sorts of fusion of different insctincts, such as latin and mediterranean rythms, popular and ethnic music, jazz, bluesy moods, funky to rock grooves, all mixed in a natural way that leaves each single the originary item recognizable still indeed creating a new resulting sound. The creative wave of Rossella walks together with Givanni and Daniele sensivity, and all melts with surprising ease: a new combination of accents and sounds... With the collaboration of the rythm section the band is completing the recording session of its first release, up to come in Juin 2008, 11 songs and two short items (prelude and conclusion).
